Based on your responses to SporTran's Fall 2023 Community Feedback surveys, we're implementing changes to several fixed-bus routes, extending our Zero Fare program, expanding Shreveport Saturday service, and growing service to several areas of Shreveport previously without a bus line beginning January 2, 2024.

SporTran is one of the oldest public transportation systems in the south. SporTran has been in continual service for over 125 years with only one interruption due to the strike of 1957. SporTran operates seven days a week on 17 bus routes from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., with shorter operations on the weekends.
