Ruger security 9 problems

My newly purchased Ruger Security 9 has a problem ejecting the spent casing. It doesn't always grab the casing to eject and causes a jam. I'm coming close to having put 1,000 rounds through the gun and here is the problem: It ONLY likes Federal ammo! Federal ammo has had zero jams and zero of these ejection problems!

I've had it happen on more than one of my 380's and won't use it any longer. I cleaned and oiled it first thing. I took it to the range today and put 100 rounds through it. Failure to feed nose up happened about 10 times. I was using lawman 147 grain.
