The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl. One should have power. If neither has power with the ignition on then check the fuses. If one does have power then jump it to the other. If the fan comes on, the temp switch is bad. If the radiator is full of coolant, the problem is most likely the thermostat. The fan switch is in the radiator, so it does not get hot enough to kick on when the thermostat is stuck shut. Given the age, I would suggest checking the coolant circulation after a new thermostat is installed.Make sure battery is fully charges, pull the spark plug, and turn the engine over to ensure its turning over properly.
