CON. To my knowledge, the 284 does not have live PTO. A real disappointment for that vintage of tractor. 4WD isn't needed unless you are going to use it for snow or you plan to get stuck often. It should not be used on a continuous basis. Never used on a hard surface. I'd like to really dial the carb in though.
