Hiking Hawksbill Crag (Whitaker Point) with its 150 ft. bluffs and drop-offs at midnight, is one of my less wise decisions that could easily have ended in disaster. One recent comment on an article about the deaths tried to pin the blame on nature. The author of the comment said “Nature is always out to get you.” I can’t agree with that.
