2019 chevy colorado temperature gauge not working

There should be a temperature sensor on the side of the transmission somewhere that sends a signal to your dash board readout. Look up year make and model and see if this is correct. Hope this helps. the sensor is on the drivers side above the shift linkage, by the valve body.
